TERMS

Limited Liability

  1. STITCH EXHIBITION FABRICS LTD, shall be under no liability whatsoever to the purchaser of any goods for any indirect loss and/or expense (including loss of profit) suffered by the buyer resulting from a breach of contract (of any nature) or common law duty of care by STITCH EXHIBITION FABRICS LTD.
  2. Under no circumstances shall the liability of STITCH EXHIBITION FABRICS LTD to the purchaser of goods for breach of contract (of any nature) or common law duty of care exceed the purchase price of the particular goods to which the breach relates.
  3. In the case of the supply of goods within the United Kingdom, nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall affect STITCH EXHIBITION FABRICS Ltd liability under the Unfair Contract Terms Act for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of STITCH EXHIBITION FABRICS LTD.

Title

The goods remain the property of STITCH EXHIBITION FABRICS LTD until the invoice is paid in full. Any issues must be advised prior to Show/Event opening to agree and rectify. Any issues advised after Show/Event opening will NOT be accepted.

Payment Terms

Net 30 days from invoice date unless previously agreed in writing or as indicated on invoice. On overdue accounts we reserve the right to charge Statutory Fees and Interest at 8% above the Lloyds Bank base rate.

A 50% cash advance is required on all orders of £10,000.00 and more unless otherwise agreed in writing, this will be issued by pro-forma invoice.

Cancellation by the Client

Cancellation will only be effective from the date that written notice of cancellation is received by STITCH EXHIBITION FABRICS LTD. A cancellation fee will be payable by the CLIENT as set out below, this has been calculated to represent a reasonable assessment of the loss that STITCH EXHIBITION FABRICS LTD will suffer as a result of cancellation.

Notice given cancellation of 1-7 days the fee payable is 100%. Notice given cancellation of 8-27 days the fee payable is 50%.

General Terms

  1. All quotations without engagement.
  2. No guarantee is given that the goods are fit for the buyers purpose, and the buyer must satisfy themselves that of their fitness for any purpose for which they are intended to be used.
  3. The performance of any order of contract is subject to variation or cancellation by us in the event of War, Strikes, Government regulations or orders, National and International Emergencies, Lockouts, Fire, Flood, Drought, Tempest or any other cause whatsoever beyond our control, or owing to any inability by us to procure materials or articles required for the performance of the order of contract and we shall not be held responsible for any inability to deliver caused by any such contingency.
  4. WARNING: ALL NON DURABLY FLAME RETARDANT MATERIALS (NDFR) ARE CHEMICALLY TREATED WITH A WATER SOLUBLE SOLUTION AND IF WETTED IN ANY WAY IT IS ESSENTIAL TO RETREAT THE FABRIC TO MEET FLAMMABILITY REQUIREMENTS. THIS MAY ALSO APPLY AFTER CLEANING. ALL TYPES OF FLAME RETARDANT MATERIALS (NDFR, DFR, IFR) MUST BE KEPT CLEAN AND FREE OF DUST AS THIS MAY PROVIDE A FIRE SOURCE.
  5. The laws of England and Wales shall govern the validity construction and performance of any contract entered into by us, and time shall not be the essence of the contract.
  6. We will not accept, or be bound by, any other terms of conditions in respect of orders placed with us, unless specifically agreed to in writing, and signed by a Director of this company.

  Why Stitch Exhibition Fabrics value your privacy.

1.  Stitch Exhibition Fabrics values your privacy as much as we do our own, so we are committed to keeping your personal and business information safe. We only ask for only the are minimum of information from our customers. Stitch Exhibition Fabrics will never use your personal information for any reason other than why you gave it, and will never give anyone access to it unless we are forced to do so by law. We will not sell or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.    

2.We ask for contact information including your name and email address on our website so that we can reply to your enquiry.  

3.Our website uses cookies to track your visit, see Use of cookies, below. We do not use native social media ‘like’ or ‘sharing’ buttons which build profiles of your internet activity. We ask for your account and contact information when you hire or buy something from us. 

4.When you contact Stitch Exhibition Fabrics Ltd by email or through the website, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the company you work for, if you have given it.  If you do business with Stitch Exhibition Fabrics, we also collect your business name and bank details and keep records of the invoices that are sent to you and the payments you make.

This website uses cookies , through the use of Google Analytics. ‘Cookies’ are small pieces of information sent by an organisation to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow the website to recognise you when you visit. They collect statistical

data about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual. In regards to personal information and the use of Google Analytics, Google don’t store any personal information. It is against their terms of service to do so. The collection of IP addresses is also anonymised. It is possible to switch off cookies by setting your browser preferences. 5.When you contact the Stitch Exhibition Fabrics by email or through the website it is added to our contacts book.  All this information is password protected. Your information is also saved in our accounts software, VT Transaction. 

6.Stitch Exhibition Fabrics will use your information to send you invoices, statements, or reminders.
